    BZN series PSA nitrogen generators use compressed air as the raw material and utilize carbon molecular sieves of different capability in adsorption of nitrogen and oxygen in air, and realize nitrogen generation by pressure swing under normal temperature.

    The principle of pressure swing adsorption is that, under the adsorption balance conditions,  when any adsorbent is adsorbing the same gas, the higher the gas pressure is, the bigger the adsorption quantity will be; contrarily, the smaller the gas pressure is, the smaller the adsorption quantity will be. The core part of PSA nitrogen generator is the carbon molecular sieve. When the air pressure rises, the carbon molecular sieve will adsorb plenty of oxygen, carbon dioxide and moisture. When the pressure decreases to normal pressure, the adsorption quantity of carbon molecular sieve will become quite small.

    The PSA equipment is mainly composed of two adsorption towers: A and B, installed with carbon molecular sieves, and the control system. When the compressed air goes through Tower A, the oxygen will be adsorbed by the carbon molecular sieve and the nitrogen will pass it and flow out. When the carbon molecular sieve in Tower A adsorbs to saturation, then it will switch to Tower B and implement above process and meanwhile regenerate Tower A. Regeneration is the process to discharge the gas in the absorption tower so as to quickly reduce the pressure to normal level, and release the oxygen absorbed by the carbon molecular sieve from the absorption tower.
